Western Michigan University Tricks of the Trade theatre workshop
Workshop included: Theatre and Stage Management, Auditioning, Musical Theatre Staging, Voice and Movement, Stage Lighting, Painting and Fundraising, Community Support Development
We were instucted on painting techniques to create wood grain, marble and 3D depth. The workshop was hands on and we were involved with proper staging, all aspects of theatre lighting, a classroom computer course on rental backdrops and information on how to obtain material. It was an exciting theatre workshop and I highly recommend WMU for it fine arts theatre program.
